Our Fees
- Small Projects (letters, resumes, articles up to 500 words): flat fee of £10.00; £15.00 for articles over 500 words
- Regular Projects (blog posts): £7.50 per post; £60 for 10 posts.
- Website copy: £12.50 per webpage.
- Larger Projects (e-books, short-stories, novels, reports): fee by quotation, dependant on number of words.

Synopsis Writing
The synopsis is both the most important and the most difficult aspect of writing a novel. The synopsis is what sells your novel to the prospective agent and publisher - but it is often the hardest thing an author has to write. You're so close to your story, it's difficult to take a step back and condense the crux of the story into a single page - or, at most, two or three pages - that effectively sells the story.
Let Our Way With Words take the pressure off you! We have considerable experience of writing synopses that sell - having had three novels published ourselves - and we will willingly take your manuscript and return it with a synopsis that captures the magic and essense of the story in a way that captivates the interest of your prospective agent or publisher. |

We offer two different synopsis-writing packages.
The first, a single page synopsis, is priced at just £15.00
The second comprises a single page and a two-page synopsis, for just £25.00
Proofreading and Editing
| The publishing world is fiercely competitive, and there is an increasing need to present perfect manuscripts when approaching publishers and agents.
This is where Our Way With Words can help. We are fully qualified and experienced as proofreaders and editors - our current clients include Chipmunka Publishing - and we fully understand the need for your manuscript to be the best it possibly can be.
We will:
- proofread your manuscript for spelling and grammar mistakes
- edit for style and inconsistencies
- offer advice on how your manuscript could be improved

Our proofreading and editing service is offered on a quotation basis, based on the word count of your manuscript. As a guide, we charge a competitive rate of £12.50 per hour.
